Indian River Land Trust Chosen as 2024 Beneficiaries 

Vero Beach, Fla. (October 30^th, 2023) – The Windsor Charitable Foundation board is pleased to announce the return of PNC Bank as the presenting sponsor for the 2024 Windsor Charity Polo Cup. Taking place Sat., Feb. 17, 2024, the Windsor Charity Polo Cup is recognized as the signature high-goal charity polo match of the Vero Beach season and has raised close to $2 million dollars for local and national non-profit organizations since its inception in 2012.

“The sport of polo is a significant part of Windsor’s heritage,” says Betsy Hanley, president of Windsor Real Estate, Inc. “We are proud to be hosting the much-anticipated Windsor Charity Polo Cup again next year, and to be supporting three very worthy local charitable organizations.”

Selected by the Windsor membership, the beneficiaries for the 2024 event are the Homeless Children’s Foundation of Indian River County, Ballet Vero Beach and the Indian River Land Trust. The charities selected all offer programs to support the basic, educational and enrichment needs of underprivileged children, and to protect the area’s land for the health and wellbeing of future generations. At the 2022 event alone, the polo cup raised $350,000 for two local charities, which is expected to be surpassed at this year’s event.

“PNC is proud to once again join the Windsor Charity Polo Cup in its efforts to make a meaningful impact on Vero Beach,” said Cressman Bronson, PNC regional president for Southeast Florida. “Through this event, we’re helping organizations that protect the natural resources of our community and support the people who call it home.”

Along with the world-class polo, the 2024 Windsor Charity Polo Cup will also showcase an array of interactive events and exhibitions. An elegant luncheon for 600 guests is planned, a themed tailgate celebration, specialty retail village with a wide array of shop selections, a luxury automobile concours and a high-end raffle.

Additionally, the corporate and luxury sponsors of the event include Mercedes-Benz, Porsche and Audi of Melbourne, Jaeger-LeCoultre, L3Harris Technologies, Rehmann, CBRE Group, Inc., Seaman Schepps, JUSTIN Wines, Champagne Jeeper, Casa Dragones, Allen Brothers, Equestrian Living and Vero Beach Magazine. Members of the Windsor community are also generous contributors to the event as sponsors and donors.

The Windsor community will also be introducing its final phase of development this year. Stretching 47-acres along the Indian River Lagoon, the North Village will pay tribute to the existing homes on property while placing a heightened emphasis on sustainability and creating a thriving environment for years to come.
