In an attempt to slow traffic, five new roundabouts are
planned. After the January meeting, the consultants made
them smaller, reducing the amount of land the city would
need to buy from homeowners in the vicinity. Roundabouts
will help get rid of some of the traffic as drivers who dislike
them will choose other roads, Cook said. Bicycles will be able
to use sidewalks to navigate the roundabouts. Sidewalks will
be 6 or 8 feet wide to allow for multiple uses. >>
