The brisket fried rice with fried egg allows the rice to accent
the pork and egg flavors. ,f one prefers steak, the 1ounce .oMi
dry aged ribeye is accompanied by garlic smashed potatoes,
summer vegetables with house cultured butter. Flank steak and
country fried steak are two other entrees prepared southern style.
6ide dishes are dumpling mac, a cheddar blend with bacon,
chive and cornbread crumbs crispy brussels sprouts with bour
bon and candied bacon buttermilk mash with bacon, chive and
cornbread crumbs grilled asparagus in beef fat hollandaise and
fries with garlic aioli drizzle.
GO BANANAS FOR PUDDING
A shareable dessert, made from Angela 1ovak·s family recipe,
comes in a small mason Mar with banana pudding and crushed
vanilla wafers that melt in your mouth. The dessert menu is
always changing, but a recent oͿering was intriguing. The
&Àre Buckeyes dark chocolate brownie is Àlled with peanut
butter, fried in a graham cracker tempura and served atop
charred marshmallow.
´2ur menus are carefully thought out and we rely heavily on
input from our customers,µ 6charr said. ´We have an evolution
of menus. We are working on a fall menu and we will have an
other menu for midseason. We are elevating southern comfort
food to give it more of a contemporary feel and taste. This is not
your grandmother·s kitchen.µ
While 6outhern 6ocial is known for its food, many people
come in to sip one of the 1 crafted cocktails, with the most
epensive Must 9. Bartenders use liTuid nitrogen to chill glass
ware or freeze ingredients. 1itrogen also creates a smoky eͿect
when added to drinks. A large centrifuge is used to make instant
fusions.
