Big Brothers Big Sisters of St. Lucie, Indian River and
Okeechobee counties recently presented Wal-Mart #7038
with their 9th annual Big Brothers Big Sisters Award of
Philanthropy during their annual dream event for chocolate
lovers. Quail Valley River Club pastry chef Peter Caruso,
Osceola Bistro chef Chris Bireley, Grand Harbor Club chef
Tim Blouin and Citrus Grillhouse chef Scott Varricchio
showcased signature desserts after dinner and a champagne
reception.

d’oeuvres created and donated by local celebrity chefs. The
event, which beneÀts 6ave the &himps and its local sanctuary,
also featured live music and a selection of rae and silent
auction items that included vacation getaways, dining
packages and new behind-the scenes experiences at Save the
Chimps. Sponsors included CenterState Bank, Walking Tree
Brewery and Everglades Equipment Group.
