INJURY LAW
Gloria Seidule is a lawyer who continues to beat the odds
“I graduated from the University of Florida and knew immediately
personal tragedy hit their life,’’ she says. “For more than 30 years I
have been proudly representing people whose lives were forever
changed due to the negligence of others.’’
Seidule early in her career through the present has obtained
multi-million dollar verdicts for her clients. Active in the Florida
Justice Association and a co-founder of the Treasure Coast Justice
Association, Seidule has been recognized with the highest rating
has achieved “Super Lawyer Status” in medical malpractice and
has been given the “Hastings Award” by fellow personal injury
lawyers on the Treasure Coast for her commitment to justice for
the people.
She is one of the few lawyers in the country with legal expertise
in Infectious disease law, including the legal aspects of infection
control. This enabled her to create a coronavirus video series that
assisted companies to recognize and react to the epidemic when
it first occurred from a legal standpoint. She also has pioneered
lawsuits against corporations and governmental entities for
liability for the sexual abuse of children, such as in schools, private

daycares, churches and other organizations.
“My clients come first. I sincerely work as a personal injury lawyer
with the goal of helping others in their time of need,’’ she says.
“I believe in our system of justice, and I am proud to be a lawyer.”
Entering law school in 1984, Seidule was also one of the first
women in the field of personal injury law. “At the time, women
in law were considered to be more suited to divorce work and
appellate work,’’ she says. “Never trial law. I helped push that barrier
aside for other women to be accepted for their talents in trial
work, representing people in front of juries, and achieving justice.
While doing so, I raised two children who are now University of
Florida graduates with master degrees and contributing to society
by also helping others. Back then, it was a goal of proving women
could ‘have it all,’ meaning work, children, families and personal
fulfillment. This was a new concept that has now become part of
the fabric of law. I would like to think I helped open the door for
the generations of women to come in the trial practice of law.’’
